Labour and social counselling

Many of you work alongside studying, but where can you find answers to questions like:

Are there earning limits for students?

Am I entitled to paid vacation?

What is the 20 hour rule?

And what do I have to bear in mind if I combine several jobs?

From now on, you can get advice on all of your questions related to labour and social law in Germany. It’s a peer-to-peer consultation run by students, which means we, Vera* Schieder and Anna-Maria Proske, give you advice on basic laws and offer you useful tips.

AnkerThe consultation service is part of the strategy process and based on a partnership between the HNEE and the German Trade Union Association (DGB).

Who can take advantage of the consultation service?

Anker

Every student at the HNEE, it’s for free and can be done anonymously.

Due to the covid pandemic, all our consultations take place online. Feel free to write us an e-mail with your question/s and depending on the scope of the problem, we will mail you back or arrange a consultation session via BigBlueButton.

Personal meetings are also possible for example in a counselling walk.
